PS, Here is the Liberal Slant, it was not 70 people, it was more like over 100 people with people outside not being able to get in.  Casa De Maryland lies by stating they are not a part of the protest members.  LIE

Groups opposing Dream Act meet protest

Rockville rally attended by both supporters, detractors of law

The kick-off rally by two groups opposing the Maryland Dream Act was met with protest from a group of Hispanic students in Rockville on Wednesday.

Members from both sides said they went to the rally, held at the Rockville Library, to counter the arguments presented about the act’s effect. The Maryland Dream Act was passed in 2011 and offers in-state tuition to undocumented immigrants who graduate from Maryland high schools.

More than a dozen people showed up at the rally with orange tape covering their mouths to protest the airing of the film “They Come to America,” a documentary on illegal immigration by Dennis M. Lynch. About 70 people packed the room to see the film and attend the rally.

“A lot of films like this don’t give a voice to those who are featured in them,” said Paola Ramirez, 22, of Germantown. “We’re here to provide that voice.”

Funny how these protestors had no answer for the one guy in the movie who made it a point to say that as soon as he made “enough” money, he was headed back to his country. He also complained about how OUR young people “behave.” Here he is, a GUEST in this country and then he has the nerve to complain about OUR people and our culture?! Excuse me, but if you don’t like our ways, don’t come in the first place. I for one, will help you pack your bags and put you on a one-way flight back to where you came from!
